Shruti Bhide

Lead Scientist & Writing Mentor

The Expertise: Shruti is a Research Scientist in the Biotech industry, specializing in cell and gene therapy and cancer diagnostics. She translates her real-world laboratory experience into the classroom, making complex scientific concepts engaging and accessible for young learners.

The Approach: A professional ghostwriter for biotech leaders, Shruti bridges the gap between STEM and Literacy. At ElementX, she mentors middle and high school students in Science and English Writing, helping them master the art of clear, confident communication.

The Goal: To cultivate curiosity and critical thinking skills that serve students long after they leave the classroom.

Jui Brahmapurikar

Early Literacy & Learning Specialist

The Expertise: Jui holds a degree in Linguistics and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Psychology. Since 2017, she has specialized in the "science of reading," helping Kindergarten and 1st-grade students master foundational phonics and literacy.

The Approach: With a focus on the intersection of language and cognitive development, Jui provides a highly tailored, supportive environment. Whether leading small groups or one-on-one sessions, she excels at helping students up to 3rd grade build the confidence they need to tackle homework and ElementX’s specialized curriculum.

The Human Touch: Jui believes that a happy student is a successful student. When she isn’t helping young scholars find their voice, you’ll find her baking, exploring local hiking trails, or planning her next travel adventure.

Tanvi Tambe

Creative Arts Lead & Educator

The Philosophy: As a professional artist and educator, Sushma believes that art is a powerful tool for developing a child’s inner voice. Her classes are designed to be a sanctuary where students transition from the pressure of school to the freedom of the creative process.

The Approach: Sushma guides children through structured, age-appropriate activities that emphasize how to create rather than just the final result. By focusing on the journey, she helps students build fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and—most importantly—the courage to experiment.

The Goal: To foster a supportive after-school environment where every child gains the confidence to express themselves. At ElementX, Sushma ensures that art isn't just an activity—it’s a pathway to self-discovery and emotional resilience.

Tejas Thobbi 

Computational Mentor

The Expertise: Tejas is a researcher in the field of Coding with a focus on computational applications. With over 10 years of coding experience, he brings a deep, technical understanding of how human intelligence and machine logic intersect—a perspective rarely found in traditional K-12 education.

The Approach: Drawing on his educational experience, Tejas bridges the gap between high-level computer science and child development. He mentors students in the "Modern Scholar" pillar, transforming abstract Math and STEM concepts into hands-on innovation and hackathon projects ensuring that every scholar develops a rigorous, algorithmic way of thinking.

The Goal: To move beyond rote memorization and empower students with the computational logic and cognitive resilience required to lead in the age of AI.

Amit Lagu

PhD Senior Mathematics Mentor

The Expertise: Amit holds a PhD and brings a deep, rigorous understanding of mathematical structures to the classroom. A cornerstone of the ElementX faculty since 2019, he specializes in supporting students from Grade 4 through Grade 10, ensuring they navigate the critical transition from foundational arithmetic to advanced algebraic thinking.

The Approach: Amit’s teaching philosophy centers on "Concept Deconstruction"—breaking down intimidating, complex problems into manageable, "fun-sized" bits of logic. Known for his patient and encouraging demeanor, he tailors his instruction to the unique cognitive pace of each scholar, transforming math anxiety into math confidence.

The Goal: To build a collaborative bridge between mentor, student, and parent through regular progress transparency, ensuring every mathematical challenge becomes a shared victory.
