What is your student-to-teacher ratio?
At ElementX, we believe that high-impact learning only happens when a child feels truly seen. While standard programs often exceed 20 students per instructor, our one-to-seven model ensures:
Zero "Drift": Your child never gets lost in the crowd. We catch misunderstandings in Math or Language the moment they happen.
True Mentorship: Our mentors have the time to go beyond the curriculum, engaging with your child's specific interests and curiosities.
A Calm Environment: A 1:7 ratio creates a focused, high-end atmosphere that is conducive to deep thinking rather than just "daycare" noise.
Custom Pace: We can accelerate for the gifted student or provide extra scaffolding for the student who needs it, without holding anyone back.
Do you offer school pick-up?
Yes! we provide safe transportation from several local Saratoga and San Jose schools.
How do you ensure student health and safety?
Student safety is our single top priority. We maintain a high standard of wellness and conduct to ensure a secure learning environment for everyone.
Sickness Policy: To protect our community, please keep children home if they show symptoms of any infectious illness, including COVID-19, the flu, stomach flu, or pink eye .
Temperature Checks: Any student with a reading of 100°F or higher will be asked to go home.
Allergen Safety: Our facility is strictly Nut-Free. Parents must clearly disclose all food allergies and dietary restrictions during the enrollment process for our records.
Student Conduct: We maintain a strictly respectful environment. Bullying, aggression, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program without a refund.
Where is the facility located?
Our academy is situated in a prime, easily accessible part of the South Bay(1428 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose), making it a convenient stop for local families.
Convenient Access: Located directly on Saratoga Avenue, we are just minutes away from major West San Jose and Saratoga neighborhoods.

What is your cancellation or withdrawal policy?
Answer: We require atleast a 4 week written notice for program withdrawals to manage our small mentor-to-student ratios. There are no refunds, discounts, or makeup classes for missed sessions due to illness, travel, or personal reasons. Please note that all fees already paid are non-refundable upon withdrawal.
Are classes held on holidays or school breaks?
Answer: ElementX follows the San Jose district calendar for major holidays, but we often offer specialized programs and camps during Spring, Summer and Winter breaks. However, ElementX observes major holidays including New Year’s, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas .
What happens if my child misses a class?
We prioritize consistent growth, but we understand scheduling conflicts arise. To maintain our high standard of instruction and professional mentorship, we adhere to the following:
The Commitment: Our mentors dedicate significant time outside of class for preparation and grading; therefore, a student who misses a session simply misses the benefit of that lesson.
No Makeup Sessions: We do not provide refunds, discounts, or makeup classes for sessions missed due to illness, travel, or personal scheduling conflicts.
Staff Reliability: Makeup classes or refunds are only issued if a teacher or substitute is unable to teach a regularly scheduled class due to personal reasons.
Academic Support: While we cannot offer makeups, we will ensure your child receives their assignments and homework so they can stay on track with their cohort.
How does billing and tuition work?
We strive for a simple and transparent billing process to keep our focus on your child’s education.
Monthly Cycle: Tuition is paid on a monthly basis (not per class) and is due at the first class of the month.
Due Dates: To avoid disruptions, all payments must be received before the 5th of each month.
Late Fees: Payments received after the due date will incur a $50.00 late fee.
Payment Methods: We currently accept Zelle, Cash, or Checks
Overdue Accounts: Accounts overdue by more than 45 days may result in the suspension of classes until the balance is cleared
